Telangana Minimum wages Press Note 2016
The Commissioner of Labour, Telangana, Hydrabad & Competent Authority under Minimum Wages Act, 1948, has declared the average State Industrial Consumer Price Index Number for the half year ending December 2015, as 1239 points (Base year 1982=100 Series) for Industrial Workers under part - i & 922 points (Base year 1986=100 series) for Agricultural Workers under Part - II which are applicable for the period from 1 April 2016 to 30 September 2016 in various Scheduled Employement notified under the minimum wages Act, 1948, in the State of Telangana for the purpose of calculation of VDA.
