Trade Licence



1.       Why Trade License is required.
a.       Its require for obtaining permission in writing of the Commissioner to employ steam, electricity, water or other mechanical power (u/s 330 of Haryana Municipal Corporation 1994  similar with other state too need to check)
b.      Eating houses, tea shop, coffee house, cafe, restaurant, is not to be used without license from Commissioner (u/s 335 of Haryana Municipal Corporation 1994 & similar with other state too need to check)

2.       Trade License Applicable to :-
a.       Delhi
b.      West Bengal
c.       Karnataka
d.      Tamil Nadu
e.      Andra Pradesh
f.        Telangana
g.       Haryana (U/S 330, 331, 335, 336 Of Haryana Municipal Corporation act 1994)
h.      Other State ( Need to check the provision for other State  Municipal Corporation Act )
3.       Eligible for applying for trade license.
a.      A person who intends to set up a trade can apply for a trade license

4.       Where & How to apply for a trade license
a.     An application for a trade license can be made either at a CSB (Citizen Facilitation Centre) nearest to the business place or through the internet.
b.      When Application sent through the internet the applicant have to submit the necessary documents at any of the CSBs after marking the document with the unique acknowledgement number allotted to his application on the internet.
c.       As a further process the application is assigned to and processed by the Department Head (Sr. Inspector License) of License Department at the concerned Ward. After site inspection and approval of the application, the scheduled fees are collected and the license is issued to the applicant.

5.       Documents are required for applying for a new trade license
a.       Documentary proof of legal occupancy of the unit
b.      Documentary proof of establishment of trade w.e.f. the date
c.       Site plan
d.      Key Plan
e.      Documentary proof of existence of firefighting equipment at the unit (NOC)
f.        Documentary proof regarding non-existence of unauthorized construction at the unit on or before 30.6.1977 (NOC)
g.       Indemnity Bond for Rs.100/-
h.      Affidavit for Rs.10/-
i.         NOC from land-owning agency
j.        Deed of constitution, if any
k.       Any other documents, if asked for

6.       Documents required for renewal of trade license:
a.       Original License copy
b.       Any other documents, if asked for
