EPFO now trying to resolve the issue of non-report of all absolute employees

In today epoch there are many establishments engaged into given that manpower supplier/facility provider/ security agencies covered under EPF & MP Act 1952. Many complaints were collected into the bucket of EPF regional offices via written letter or on Shram Suvidh portal or from other approaches on non-report of all absolute employees engaged at a respective client place/principal employer’s place by establishments.

Now EPF central authority issued a new circular with no. Compliance/C-III/011/3(18)2015/DL/DO-Ref/8654 regarding above stated matter and decided in next to this –

   Ø  It shall be mandatory on the part of Enforcement officer, to report number of employer in respect of these establishments with reference to each of principle employer /client being served by these establishments.
Ø  In case of any 7A proceeding, in respect of such establishment, it shall be mandatory on the part of officer working as Departmental Representative to report no. of employees in respect of these security/manpower/facility management establishment with reference to each of the principle employer/client being served by these establishment.

v  Apart from this order the very significant point evaluated that the while carrying inspection of any Principle employer it must be determined whether the details of contract awarded have been uploaded by Principle employer in the EPF portal and same should be reported in Inspection.

In this support the Performa of inspection modified by EPF and included some new points.
