The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961

No. II(2)/LE/565/2015 – Under the proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961(Central Act 53 of 1961), the Governor of the Tamil Nadu hereby declare that all the provisions of the said Act shall apply to the motor transport undertaking as declined in clause (g) of Section 2 of the Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961 (Central Act 27 of 1961), in the State of Tamil Nadu.
