In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-section (2) of section 62 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service )Act, 1996 (Central Act 27 of 1996), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2005, namely:-

1. These rules may be called the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2015.

2. In Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2005, for rule 50, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :-

“50 MATERNITY BENEFIT (SECTION 62):-
The women employees who are beneficiary of the fund shall be given Rs.30,000/- (thirty thousand rupees) each as maternity benefit with an additional amount of Rs. 6000/- as nutritional supplement after the birth of a child, on an application made by her in Form XI with such other documents as specified.

Provided that this benefit shall be given upto two children. “Provided further that this benefit shall be extended upto three female children irrespective of the order of their birth”.
