Remittance of PF contribution electronically through Internet Banking
- The Central Government by Notification dated 5.5.2015 had made remittance of PF Contributions electronically through internet Banking mandatory effective from 5.5.2015.
- The Central Provident Fund Commissioner has now allowed the Employers to remit less than Rs.1,00,000/- Statutory dues by physical mode (Bank Draft / Cheque / BankerÃs Cheque) for only a transitory period upto 31.12.2015. It shall be compulsory to make payment electronically with effect from 1.1.2016 through internet Banking only.
- A copy of the Internal Circular dated 15.10.2015 issued by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation to their Field Functionaries is given on the reverse.
